Majestic Star Casino Sends Winner to Hollywood
Buffington Harbor, Ind., 2/14/01 - Majestic Star Casino's exclusive Wheel of Fortune promotion came to an exciting end when Faith McAfee of South Holland, Illinois was announced as its grand prize winner. Majestic awarded instant prizes and cash awards to hundreds of lucky Club Majestic members and a grand prize vacation to McAfee during the exciting four-week promotion.
McAfee was shocked when she found out she had won. "I've always been a fan of the show," said a breathless McAfee. In addition to the grand prize trip including airfare, hotel accommodations and spending money, McAfee won an audition to become a contestant on the popular television gameshow as well as VIP passes to a taping of the show.
"Our Wheel of Fortune promotion was extremely popular with our guests," said Jef Bauer, Vice President of Marketing. "We awarded more than 100 prizes each day, more than $10,000 cash in weekly drawings and a grand prize including the trip for two to Hollywood, California."
