Casino Vice President Promoted to Corporate
Buffington Harbor, Ind., 3/12/02 - Majestic Star Casino, LLC recently named Jef Bauer as its corporate vice president.
Bauer will oversee all Marketing and Player Development efforts for all four of Majestic's casinos, Fitzgeralds Tunica, Mississippi, Fitzgeralds Las Vegas, Fizgeralds Blackhawk, Colorado and Majestic Star.
Bauer was formerly vice president of Marketing for Majestic Star Casino in Gary. He joined Majestic in December, 1999, from Harrah's where he held several positions within the organization in both marketing and operations arenas.
Bauer is active in the Northwest Indiana community and will retain his office in Gary. He is a board member of both the Crisis Center Inc. and a Partnership for a Drug Free Lake County. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
Bauer is married with three children.
