Bar Porter (Full-Time)

Completes all set-ups on time. Ensures that beverage supplies are available during services. Keeps bar clean and odor free at all times. Adheres to company and departmental policies and procedures. Is courteous and displays a good attitude. Performs any resonable request made by beverage menagement. Performs all other related and compatible duties assigned.


Bartender

Takes customer drink orders. Properly greet each guest and provide outstanding customer service offering drink specials. Prepares drink according to recopies, serves drinks, and collects money from beverage servers and casino customers in a courteous manner Adheres to food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws. Perform duties of cashier in front and service bars. Keeps station clean at all times. Promotes positive customer relations. Responsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guest's checks. Other departmental duties and assignments as directed by management.


Beverage Server

Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Adheres to food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws. Completes all required set-up duties on time. Keeps station clean at all times. Promotes positive customer relations. Responsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guests checks. Performs all other related and compatible duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Supervisor.


Buffet Server

Greet each guest and provide superior guest service at for all Majestic Hotel Casinos Food and Beverage operations. Must maintain pleasant and courteous attitude. Complete all opening and closing duties. Assist bussers in the setting of tables with clean dishes, glasses and flatware in accordance with approved guest service procedures. Presents menu to guest, suggesting courses, appropriate drinks, and answering questions regarding food preparation. Take order, offer drinks and take beverage order. Serves meals to patrons according to established rules or etiquette, working in a family or formal setting. Check for quality after each course. Refill all drinks when needed. Maintain clean ashtrays. Buss tables as needed. Remove all dirty dishes and glassware from the guest's tables during and after each course. Totals bill, presents check, collects settlement, and takes payment to cashier. Assist bussers in the clearing of tables and dirty dishes, glasses and flatware in accordance with approved guest service procedures. Assist bussers in maintaining the general cleanliness all public areas, including carpeted and tiles floors, furniture and waitress stations.


Cage Cashier

Quickly and accurately cuts and counts chips on a continuous basis. Quickly and accurately makes change, cashes checks and processes markers and fills. Write receipts for markers pay outs, and other documents. Inputs and accesses information on the computer. Greets patrons and offers efficient, timely customer service during all window transactions. Uses current technology to obtain customer credit information, field incoming calls and coordinates work with fellow employees. Maintains bank balance and keeps work area clean and supplies stocked. Completes any required paperworok. Performs any additional duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.


Casino Service Representative

Services Majestic Star player club members. Promotes excellent customer relations. Maintains knowledge of player recognition programs regarding point value, cash back, comp issuance and customer response functions. Consistently displays positive morale and high service standards. Performs all club functions and point transactions. Completes all documentation regarding passenger head counts and route information to the appropriate individuals.


Cook I

Prepares all special menu items, including soups, sauces and daily specials. Assumes an active role in quality control of all food items. Is familiar with all items in freezer and coolers, and assists in insuring that items are properly rotated to maintain freshness. Is familiar with the correct operation of all kitchen equipment and sanitation procedures. Responsible for the preparation of various menu items in all outlets and stations. Help in keeping the kitchen and stations clean and sanitary at all times. Take orders. Reponsible for stock rotation. Responsible for maintaining stations. Check out with supervisor at end of shift. Other departmental related duties and assignments as directed by management.

Dual Rate Floor Supervisor - Table Games

Fully responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the table games for a particular table or area. Responsible for the supervision, operation and conduct of gaming at all table games. Checks equipment daily for problems and flaws that would jeopardize the integrity of the operation of gaming. Directly supervises dealers in assigned areas in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. Responsible for traning, desciplining and evaluating Casino Dealers. Must accurately rate guest table play. Keep accurate track of money flow from Table Games and do related accounting work for all assigned tables. Insures adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.


Facilities Supervisor

Responsible for casino projects and aesthetic cleanliness. Coordinate casino projects with all departments. Assist coordination with the Marine Department on aesthetic projects. Directly supervises all members of the casino project crew and assists in the supervision of the Housekeepers as directed by the Marine Department. Composes correspondences under the direction of Management.


Floor Supervisor

Directly supervises dealer responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work. Appraising performance, rewards, and disciplining team members. Addressing complaints and resolving problems. Rating and tracking guests play. Assist guests in obtaining a marker. Making sure buy-ins are correct.


Food & Beverage Supervisor (Buffet)

Supervise the service and performance of all personnel working in assigned area. Assist with set-up and breakdown of all private and company functions. Responsible for the operation of shift. Ensure all service and check control procedures are followed. Responsible for inventory, rotation, equipment and the cleanliness. Ensure all health and sanitation policy and procedures are followed. Handle guest's complaints. Keep accurate daily shift reports and communicate to manager and director. Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate company/department updates, schedule changes, special information, and answer employee questions. Assist manager in controlling costs, overtime, and expenditures. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for new employees and ongoing training. Possess strong motivational skills and creative thinking. Provide a harmonious working environment while being sensitive to the needs of our guests and team members.


Hostess/Cashier(Buffet)

Welcome every guest in order to improve guest satisfaction and to promote positive guest relations. Escort guests to their tables/booths in a courteous and friendly manner. Inspect dining area and set the table/booth when necessary. Practice and observe the safety rules and regulations in all dining areas. Responsible for all comps and reservation sheets. Run all required reports for the server, the micros cashier report and the batch report from the credit card machine. Present check and collect settlement for all necessary items. Serve efficiently between 25-35 guests per half-hour. Complete all opening and closing side duties. Stock areas with all necessary items, during the shift as well as the end of the shift. Maintain cleanliness of all dining areas. Ring all financial transactions accurately. Follow all policies and procedures regarding alcohol. Responsible for abiding to all cash handling policies and procedures. Pick up and return bank and revenue to and from cage or cash room. Accurately verify all banks received and returned from cage or cash room. Run necessary reports. Take reservations when necessary. Be knowledgeable of events. Other departmental related duties and assignments as directed by management.


Hotel Operations Manager

Responsible for overall management of Majestic Star Hotel. Establishes standards for employee administration and performance, service to patrons, room rates, credit, and type of patronage to be solicited. Allocates funds, authorizes expenditures, and oversees budget plans for the Hotel's internal departments. Establishes yield management procedures and customer service standards for all Hotel departments. Processes purchasing for all hotel items and supplies. Manages facility upkeep and physical improvements. Coordinates interdepartmental communication and interaction. Oversees payroll reports for Hotel Operations. Manages weekly Hotel Operation meetings. Maximizes profit and guest satisfaction through effective cost controls. Adheres to all three-star standards. Maintains integrity of the property management system. Coordinates advertising and publicity activities with the Marketing department. Coordinates cost control, quality control, facilities development, departmental management and long range planning programs. Coordinates group sales lodging with the Tour & Travel department. Inspects guests' rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance. Answers patrons' complaints and resolves problems. Manages Front Office Manager, Housekeeping Manager and PBX Supervisor.


Housekeeping - Marine

Assists in the daily operation of the casino. Have the ability to issue credit at authorized amounts. Acts as a team leader insuring that all supervisors and dealers are motivated and have the appropriate tools to service our guests. Creates and implements strategies to increase revenue. Periodically scheduled in floor or relief positions. Performs Shift Manager responsibilities on days off, vacations or as needed. Creates an open atmosphere that promotes skill enhancements. Maintains excellent customer relations, including greeting of guests and handling complaints or problems and issuing complimentaries. Assists in scheduling pit personnel to meet business demands. Manages daily labor to open and close games as needed. Evaluates performance of team members and writes comprehensive evaluations. Administers both positive and developmental documentation. Creates monthly productivity reports. Insures adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.


Laundry Attendant

Sorts out into proper category, solid linen from laundry bins and what linens are delivered to the laundry. Employees will be trained in each area of operation as prescribed by the Manager. Employees will be trained as to the proper operation of equipment they are expected to operate and the safety procedures that must be followed. The overall productive procedure will be explained so that each employee will be aware of how and why a "team effort" is followed and the importance of each area. Employees wil be trained in maintaining quality control. Records of productivity will be kept in each area. Employees will be rotated in each area so that maximum training will be obtained and skills in each area can be maximized.


Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for coordination of all printing, production and distribution. Responsible for scheduling and tracking of requests, copy, art, lists and other material through every stage of production. Prepare, edit and proof copy as assigned. Works with Marketing team to plan projects, discuss style and tone of message and ensure that printing and technical considerations are addressed. Maintain the marketing inventory, coordinates deliveries and keep records. Maintain spreadsheets and reports on current campaign messages, budget status, contractual obligations and schedules. Responsible for maintaining files and accurate records of all projects and programs. Maintain courteous relations with vendors, patrons and fellow employees and, at all times, to act professionally as a representative of company. Assist Director with daily functions operational of the department.


Pit Manager

Oversees and supervises table games on the casino floor and ensures their smooth operation. Opens and closes gaming tables. Assures games run properly and according to the policies of the casino. Assure that regulations and procedures of the games are being followed. Assigns employees to specific daily duties. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Keeps track of guest ratings. Issues markers for Table Games players. Issues complimentaries to guest. watches dealers to ensure they are dealing properly and not making mistakes. Is alert to players who may be attempting to cheat the casino in any way. Solves guest problems and complaints. Performs table fills and credits. Settles disputes between players and casino employees. Assist in the supervision of the Poker Room Staff as required. Insures adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.


Poker Dealer (Part Time)

Responsible for dealing and maintaining the integrity of the Poker games. Responsible for handling all monies (bankrolls, payoffs, making change and check handling) accurately in games. Provides game security and protects Company assets bu facing games at all times and being able to recreate bets/situations when necessary. Deals the assigned game in accordance to company policies and procedures. Conducts the assigned game in accordance with the Indiana Gaming Commission regulations and procedures. Announces winning hand to players. Interacts with management, co-workers and guest in a polite and professional manner. Fills in for Chip Runner as needed.


Poker Room Supervisor

Fully responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the Poker Room for a particular table or area. Responsible for the supervision, operation and conduct of gaming at all Poker tables. Checks equipment daily for problems and flaws that would jeopardize the integrity of the operation of gaming. Directly supervises dealers in assigned areas in accordance with Company's policies and procedures. Responsible for training and evaluating Dealers. Must accurately rate guest table play. Fills in for Chip Runner as needed. Answer phones and assign players and dealers to appropriate tables. Insures adherence to all IGC gaming.


QMED

Assist chief and assist engineer with operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems on vessel. Maintain cleanliness of all engineerial spaces. Conduct USCG required drills and inspections under supervision of chief and assistant engineer.


Security

Maintain security through out the entire property. Responsible for the security and safety of patrons and employees during assigned shift. safeguards Company assets during shift times. Enforces policies and procedures as they apply to the Internal Controls and Gaming Regulations during their assigned shifts. Assists in the event of an emergency.


Slot Attendant (Part-time)

Performs all slot activities on the casino floor. Provide service throughout casino regularly. Balance and maintains coin/change/fill bank. Performs/verifies change buys, slot payouts and fills. Observes machine play. Performs all other related compatible duties as assigned. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Performs minor machine repair and maintenance.


Slots Host

Drive revenues and increase patron loyalty by building strong professional relationships with slot customers. Provide a superior level of service to internal customer base. Ensures proactive and ongoing communication with targeted customers through face to face interactions. Sells and promotes property visits. Provides complimentaries using established guidelines. Leverages property amenities and marketing programs to drive customer loyalty and revenue. Educate players on the importance of having their play rated by using their player's card. Manage player accounts & comps based on rated play, earned points, comp availability and customer profitability. Grow customer concerns and issues to promote a return visit. Effectively respond to managers' requests in all areas of customer interaction and customer concerns. Assist customers with reservations and acquisition of amenities and works closely with casino operations to ensure high limit players are recognized and acknowledged. Must multi-task well in a fast paced environment that involves front of the house & back of the house roles. Must be prepared to make sound judgement calls and think outside of the box. Create fun and excitement for our guests planning, implementing and participating in on & off property for maximum efficiency in completing task and resolving issues. Always maintain accurate knowledge of marketing promotions and special events and maintain a high level of visibility on the casino floor. Must be available outside of regularly scheduled hours to handle player request via phone/email. Must attain goals to meet company objectives. Adheres to all regulatory, department and company policies and procedures. Performs administrative and other duties as assigned by management.


Sous Chef

Responsible for daily ordering, preparation, and presentation of quality food products. Prepares daily production forecast. Responsible for developing and maintaining adequate par levels and inventory control procedures. Responsible for working with vendors and obtaining food quotes and food buying. Oversees food transfers and requisitions for the outlets. Control food and labor costs for the outlet. Oversees employees' training and development of food quality and sanitation. Responsible for cleanliness of the area and sanitation standards as defined by the Health Department guidelines. Maintains proper function of equipment and waste control.


Surveillance Director

Has overall responsibility for surveillance operation on the riverboats and the support facilities, and managing the surveillance personnel. Is responsible for reporting violations to the appropriate company, state and city officials. Is responsible for coordinating surveillance efforts to properly safeguard assets aboard the riverboats and support facilities. Possesses and maintains excellent working knowledge of all casino games, accounting, internal control procedures, and state regulations.


Surveillance Officer

The Surveillance Officer is responsible for observing, monitoring and recording all activity occurring in the casino ara and record observations in writing as required; record events in table games, slots, cage, hard count, soft count and must have a working knowledge of credit procedures, cash transaction reports, company procedures and Regulatory Regulations; performs duties in compliance with company standards and gaming regulations; responsible for disclosing irregularities, variances from procedures etc., observed during the performance of duties to the immediate attention of management. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.


Table Games-Assistant Shift Manager

Greet each guest and provide outstanding customer service. Supply all food items needed in order to maintain an efficient operation. Responsible for the preparation and up keep of food lines and self-service stations. Transport all food items from kitchen to respective areas. Inform chefs of all prepared food items that are needed. Assist in the kitchen with preparation of products and dish washing. Monitor temperatures of all food items in holding units. Maintain the appearance of food during the duration of the day or event by handling all food according to sanitation codes, rotating food as needed, handling all by the rims, lining up food items according to courses and presentation and having all food appear fresh. Make certain there is an ample supply of dishes and utensils at all times. Maintain all beverage areas with all necessary beverages. Complete all set-up duties on time.
